  • Billed hourly; first hour is paid up front.

  • Short term projects may last from several days to several months; but will feature an easily measured and identified ‘completion’ such as installing new equipment and training staff to operate it.

    Long term projects may feature more complex benchmarks that require a calendar based invoice with specific time limits.

  • Short term projects will be quoted at a flat rate for the entire project, outlined by measurable benchmarks or achievements. Long term projects may be billed against a monthly retainer, or an inclusive project rate.

  • Lab Advisor/Mentor roles are intended to reflect a set period of time, with clear deliverables. This timeframe will be customized for each client, and may span from one month to one calendar year.

  • Collaborative roles look more like short-term employment, in that contracts will be customized for each business relationship. Monthly retainers will be calculated based on the outlined contract deliverables and general time commitments.
